Both Decadent and Lean...

Life would be boring without sharing good food with great friends. Entertaining/spending time with the right people is a necessary factor in everyone's life. As interdependent humans, we're endowed with the need to depend and cooperate with each other, thus the reason why, we feel uplifted when we spend time with others and break bread, so-to-speak. Without it life gets monotonous and DULL!

Entertaining is one my favorite past times. So, I make sure to entertain as often as I can to get my fix. The hubby and I recently entertained some fun friends and this is what I made! I believe we all rightly deserve a break. Give your friends a break...

Yep! I made this deliciousness. Entertained some good friends & the in-law.

Servings: 6
•1 Non-stick olive spray
•2 6 Salmon fillets
•3 Salt & pepper
•4 drizzle the salmons with a little olive oil
1. Preheat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat, spray with non-stick spray.

2. Put in salmons skin side down first {cook 3 minutes per sides depending on thickness}
In the meantime, make your favorite salad. I served it with one my favorites homemade

Dressing: (measure according to your needs.)
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and Pepper
Fresh Garlic
Shake it all up in a jar and set aside.

Toss your salad with the dressing and top it with the Salmon with a little drizzle of glazed balsamic vinegar.

YUM! Break more bread with those you cherish!

Affordable Indulgence

Good food to me is the freedom to explore your senses, especially if you have never stepped out of your comfort zone. Elements Kitchen & Martini Bar is a place that affords you that opportunity, because their appetizers are mini meals and if you love them, you can indulge more by getting them as entrees. Prices for entrees average $23.00

For instance, my favorite meal off their appetizers menu is the Kona beef short rib over creamy gorgonzola polenta. It is YUMMY! I highly recommend it. Not to mention, they pride themselves on having the best martini's in town with the widest selection to choose from. The last time I checked, their selection consisted of more than 100 martinis and let me tell you, those martinis are not short on alcohol whatsoever, or on taste.

Elements is certainly not over- the top Vegas style. It is an elegantly classy place to have a nice romantic evening with your significant other. You know how they say, "you eat with your eyes first"? Well, Elements offers you an understated, yet tastefully decorated spot to eat. Please let me know what you think, by posting your comments on the blog about your experience when you do get to try it.
