Celebrity Style Icon or Ordinary Person?

Would you rather be a celebrity style icon who gets everything for free, or the "ordinary" non recognizable person next door who has to work hard for everything?

Sometimes, when all I seem to do is work hard {although finally I'm working for myself - one dream fulfilled} without any recognition/appreciation I wish I was a Celebrity - where you not only get showered with Emmys, Oscars and free products from almost every brand imaginable...on top of getting all the latest brand name of shoes/purses/coats/ for FREE!  I'm not a jealous person, I love to see others thrive and succeed - it's just at times when you see headlines like "Jennifer Aniston just bought another mansion for $21 million" while having another million dollar home (s) sitting idle in an economy that's supposedly in the toilet/recession... it makes me think about those of us who work so HARD {literally}, than most of these famous Hollywood people and yet the only free things we get is unemployment/peanuts {I don't mean the cartoon peanuts either...the cash sometimes isn't enough to even afford the paper to read peanuts;} in your pocket if that much!

Then reality sets in when I see the kind of lives they lead. It's essentially one of no privacy and no freedom to fully enjoy the things they possess. Truly, if you think about it...their world is the big screen and the fantasies that it produces and the mad rush of the paparazzi. Most of the time they are exposed in a negative light to the rest of the world - not to mention the hurtful fabricated lies conjured up about them in papers/magazines on newsstands.

Now, let me ask again the same question from the outset: Who would you rather be a celebrity style icon who gets everything for free, or the "ordinary" non recognizable person next door who has to work hard for everything?

Don't get me wrong, some days, I'd love to trade places for a day or week with some of these famous celebrities who are able to buy a $21 million NY penthouse like it's nothing, and fly on my private jet to any place I want to in the world at the blink of an eye... while I have lackeys feeding me strawberries and the best champagne. But at what cost?

Jennifer Aniston's small new pad in Bel Air, CA coming at ONLY $21 million.
To all of my returning and new readers, I appreciate that you read my blog on a regular basis but I would really love to get your feedback. Sometimes, support and encouragement from others, can truly help someone reach their full potential.

With that said, please feel free to add comments underneath the posts that you like:) and join in the conversation for free. Thank you.
