Banana Chocolate Muffins


The softer light and crisp cool weather of Autumn especially on rainy days here on the east coast make me want to bake all the time now. This week, I used my stove for the first time since last winter to make a good'ol favorite - banana nut muffins... I substituted chocolate chips instead of using the nuts in this recipe - they came out super moist and yummy as the hubby says. Listen, if I'm going for comfort food, I figured I might as well get chocolate gooey goodness in every bite.

  

The hubby and I have been enjoying them with coffee on these damp gloomy mornings we've been having. And let me tell you, they are such a great comfort food to have in the morning. It's like a warm blanky enveloping the tummy {*giggles;}.
