What a year 2018 was!  Even though it started out in a way that felt very promising, it unexpectedly took a turn for one of the most emotional years I’ve ever experienced that frankly left me feeling beat and defeated on every level. It sort of sent me into hiding which is why I disconnected a bit and did not post as much as I planned for 2018. I lost the drive to do what I love and run my businesses to their optimum capacity. Needless to say, I’m bottlenecked with content. While it was a challenging year (and let’s be honest, so will every consequent year as life is unpredictable) I still appreciate all the good in my life and honestly, the good outweighs the downers, as there were some great memories to look back on and be grateful for. One of the greatest lessons it’s taught me besides this is the perspective it gave me by shining light on my weaknesses that I need to strengthen and revealed to me the people who at the end of the day, really don’t care.

I so was not ready for 2019 to come so fast, that's why it’s taken me this long until mid-January, to finally accept that we’re in a new year. As hesitant as I am to embrace 2019 for so many reasons, I do however love the idea of a fresh new start and the energy that it brings where there’s a feeling that you still have a chance to possibly get things right this time around. I’m super curious to see how 2019 unfolds – can’t wait to see where its journey takes us. Although with all the intensified chaos going on in the world right now, I can’t help but feel that this may be the last monkey show of man dominating man to his own injury. But if it's not, some of my main goals are to make my days count, take care of my well-being by dealing with the things going on in my head, letting go of what’s hurting my heart and soul and not to give up
